Part-Time Library Assistant –East Hartford Public Library
seeks enthusiastic, outgoing candidates with strong customer service
focus, strong computer skills and previous public library experience to
join our team. Possibility for 15 - 18 hours a week, daytime and
evenings; some weekend hours. Familiarity with an ILS required,
Innovative Interfaces Sierra system preferred. Candidates must possess
the ability to perform a variety of circulation duties including
answering phones, processing library membership applications, charging
and discharging materials, receiving and processing fines, assisting
patrons in locating materials on shelves. Compensation $15.00/hr.
Required: LTA Certificate or two years college. Please send letter of
